Once you sign up we’ll send you a contract and invoice to confirm your slot (invoice must be paid in full to get started).
We’ll also send you a link to our Website Content Planner so you can write & organize your website copy, plus a link to upload your website imagery.
Lastly, we’ll send you our Brand Strategy Worksheet that asks questions about your business goals, competitors, and target audience. We’ll also ask you to include examples of other websites you like for inspo.
Once these steps are completed, we’ll send you a link to schedule your project week!

Day 1: We’ll meet for a Brand Strategy Workshop to set a foundational strategy for your brand & website. We’ll also review and help finalize your Content Planner.
Day 2: You’ll review and provide feedback on your brand identity design.
Day 3: You’ll review initial design mockups of your website.
Day 4: You’ll review your developed Squarespace website and we’ll make any final changes.
Day 5: We’ll conduct a 1:1 training on your brand new Squarespace website. If you’re ready to launch, we’ll help you purchase or connect your domain name and take it live!

For two weeks following our project you’ll have access to up to 1 hour of development support, to make sure everything is running smoothly.
Forget where that one Squarespace setting was? Shoot us an email! Small requests won’t count towards dev time :)

We’ll send you materials prior to kick-off that will help you get everything in order, but here’s what you should be prepared to provide:
Insight into your business’s mission, values, services, and identity, as well as an understanding of what sets you apart from competitors
Clear description of your target audience(s)
A preliminary vision for your brand identity (preference for colors and general aesthetic)
A list or Pinterest board of website/brand inspiration
A preliminary plan for which pages you’ll need on your website and what content each page needs

Website imagery
An open schedule to provide rapid feedback during our project week, and availability for live meetings on Monday & Friday of our project week

Due to the time-sensitive nature of this project, we don’t have copywriting support built into our project week.
We recommend that you come prepared with a sense of which pages you need on your website and what content each page needs. Our Website Content Planner is designed to help you with this.
If you do feel like you need help with copywriting, let us know before our project start date — that’s something we can offer as an add-on service.

We do need your website imagery ready to go *before* the start of our project week.
If you’re located in LA, we can provide brand photography for you as a project add-on!
If you’re outside of LA or prefer to find your own photographer, we’re happy to provide guidance on a successful brand photoshoot.
Stock photography is an option (provided you have the correct permissions), but we caution against exclusively using stock photos as they can often look generic… which is exactly what we hope to avoid with this project!

We’ll schedule live meetings for Monday & Friday of our project week.
You’ll need to be available to provide rapid feedback on each day in between. Typically we’ll send assets for review in the morning and will expect your feedback by lunchtime, so we can continue to move forward on schedule.

We’ve structured this timeline to ensure a completed website in 5 days.
However, if client feedback is delayed or if extra revisions are requested (we include one revision per phase) and the timeline is extended as a result, we will take the website as far as we can get it within the 5-day timeframe.
Should you wish to extend the project for additional days, we’re happy to schedule VIP Design Days as needed for $1500 each.

We usually require at least 2-3 weeks notice to ensure that we can clear out a full week in our schedule. This is a VIP project, which means you get priority for the full week of our project!
