  • Our bread & butter is service-based small businesses and entrepreneurs. We especially love serving women-owned businesses!

    However, we enjoy working with anyone who values building a digital presence grounded in authenticity. We’ve also worked with companies in biotech, finance, and insurance.

  • Most projects require at least a 2 week notice to get started, depending on our current client schedule.

    To lock in your project start date we’ll need a signed contract and deposit payment (usually 40% of your total investment).

  • That depends on a few factors. Our Custom Brand + Website Design projects can take 6-8 weeks (or more, depending on what’s included). Our Website in a Week package takes… well, that one’s pretty obvious :)

    Ultimately, though, the most important factor is timely feedback. The sooner you can get back to us with feedback on our designs, the faster we can reach launch day!

  • Yes! Our Custom Brand + Website Design packages require a 40% deposit with the remaining balance split into biweekly payments depending on the total length of the project.

    Our Website in a Week package must be paid in full prior to our start date.

  • Absolutely! We’re happy to work with you to come up with a package that best fits the unique needs of your business.

  • That will depend on the package you choose, but generally we request that all website content (text, imagery, etc) be submitted prior to our start date, in addition to a signed contract and deposit payment.

    But in general, you’ll want to make sure you have the time and mental capacity to invest in a project. Be prepared to think deeply about your business, write and edit website copy, and provide design feedback within 2 business days. We know you’re super busy, but to ensure the success of your project we’ll expect your full attention!

  • If you’re located in the Los Angeles area, we would LOVE to include brand photography as a project add-on. Working with just one studio for branding, photography, and website design as one comprehensive package makes for a much more efficient project AND a more cohesive brand identity.

    If you’re not in LA, we’re happy to help you prep for your brand photoshoot once you’ve selected your photographer (we can make recommendations in Boston and New York!) and once we’ve established your brand strategy.

  • Often! Expect weekly email check-ins and the occasional Zoom meeting for design reviews.

    We’ll be sending you project milestones to review on a weekly basis, and we’ll expect your feedback within 2 business days.

  • We love Squarespace for 4 reasons.

    First, the platform is relatively easy to learn even if you have no website design knowledge. Squarespace makes it easy for you to maintain your website and add/edit new pages without our support.

    Second, Squarespace allows developers (that’s us!) to customize their platform in fun & exciting ways — giving you a completely unique website that’s still easy to manage.

    Third, Squarespace is constantly evolving and adding cool new features that allow you to keep your website fresh.

    And last but not least, it’s cheap! A custom Squarespace website will run you only about $250 for a whole year.

  • We design your website intentionally so it’s easy for you to update on your own without relying on developer support.

    To make sure you feel confident, we close each project with a 1:1 training for your website. We also include support time just in case something comes up after launch.

    If you do wind up needing help a bit further down the line, reach out! We’re happy to provide development support on an hourly basis.
